The packaging materials we use are -of course- environmentally friendly and fully recyclable. We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint and ship our orders 'carbon neutral' as much as possible.
We generally ship your orders within 2-4 business days.We have partnered with Fedex and with USPS and we ship your order throughout the Contiguous States of the US which ensures fast and professional delivery at all times. (average transit time is 3-5 days)
We advise you to purchase a so-called"heat pack"for areas where it gets below 50 °F in Winter. A heat pack protects your plant(s) from freezing during transit. One heat pack protects up to 4 plants in one shipping carton. (a heat pack doesn't add weight to the total order!)

Botanical Name: Peperomia tetragona (formerly x puteolata)
-
Common Name(s): Parallel
-
Description:
-
With its almond-shaped leaves are variegated with alternating stripes of dark and light green, much like the outside of a watermelon. The leaves emerge in whirls of threes and fours with upright, reddish stems.
Care:
- Light: Peperomia houseplants grow well in the bright indirect light provided by a west or east-facing window. These houseplants can even grow under fluorescent lights. Insufficient light causes the slow-growing peperomia plant to stop growing altogether. Direct sunlight burns the leaves.
- Pet Friendly: Yes
- Water: Allow the top 50% of the soil to dry out before you water. Over watering, resulting in root rot, is the main cause of serious Peperomia plant problems. It’s best to water these plants from the bottom. This technique keeps the leaves dry and helps prevent plant diseases. The thick leaves of peperomia plants hold water and allow the plant to withstand long periods without moisture.
- Humidity: Medium
- Temperature: Warm temperatures between 60°-80° F are best. Temperatures below 50°-55° F and cold drafts from windows and doors damage peperomia plant leaves.
- Difficult Level: Easy
